We are excited to announce an important new feature that will make navigating price transparency data and finding answers easier for all - Full Fee Schedule Lookup!
Imagine you are searching for an emergency room visit rate for The Brooklyn Hospital Center (EIN 111630755) with Cigna National OAP. So you search with the following criteria in Signal:
- Payer: Cigna National OAP
- Code: 99283 (Emergency Dept Visit with Low Complexity Medical Decision-Making)
- Provider: The Brooklyn Hospital Center (EIN 111630755)
- Negotiation Type: Institutional
Unfortunately, no results return.
The next step for a user typically would have been to search additional codes in Signal OR reach out to our support team for help. But now, you have an option to download a full fee schedule for a given EIN and payer network.
As seen below, when a Signal search returns no results, a pop-up will appear on the screen with the option to download a .csv of the full fee schedule for EIN 111630755 and a given payer network.
The .csv download will allow you to view the full fee schedule for the provider you have selected in your search. You can use the outputs to discover codes that you can add to future Signal searches.
You can also access the fee schedule download feature directly in our “Providers” search panel - just click the red “Fee Schedule” button next to an EIN when you search for it.
Taking our earlier example forward, you will see in the .csv download that The Brooklyn Hospital Center uses Revenue Code 0450 for an emergency room visit. And when re-searching on our platform, you’ll get results!
