Custom Code Crosswalking

If you've worked with price transparency data, you may have encountered payers who post some of their rates using non-standard, custom codes (like “EMR” for emergency room visits) instead of familiar CPT, HCPCS, or revenue codes. Our Signal platform now automatically crosswalks these custom codes to their standard equivalents wherever a confirmed mapping exists. This means you can search using the codes you know and still surface rates that would otherwise be hidden.

For example, when searching for Revenue Code 0450 (ER visit) under UnitedHealthcare, Signal now pulls in United's rates posted under the code "EMR”, giving you more complete visibility with less manual work. Check out this Loom video for more details!
